Full-Service Option: Shipping Artworks


Exhibitors who are not able to attend the exhibition or to fly to Tokyo can ship their artworks directly to us. Be present at the art market despite the pandemic as well as travel restrictions.

Take advantage of our full service option free of charge. Your participation in the exhibition is therefore also possible without your personal presence in Tokyo. Our team will take care of everything: Reception of artworks, storage, handling, unpacking, hanging artworks, sales management, promotion, photo and video reportage, 0% commission on sales, wrapping, and handling of returns: packing of unsold works and handover forwarding agent.

Exhibitors must use their own courier service like UPS, DHL or FedEX … and are responsible for the shipping costs.

VERY IMPORTANT: Artworks must be delivered on Wednesday 26th May 2021 (9am-22pm) or Thursday 27th May 2021 (9am-12am). Please note that we cannot receive any artworks before Wednesday 27th May 2021 and later than Thursday 27th May 2021 till 12am.

Exhibitors are responsible for the shipping. We do not charge any extra cost for the full service option.

Full Service includes:

- Artworks installations and representation, consulting, and sales at the gallery*.
- Acceptance of delivery of your exhibition goods
- Unpacking of the works and storage of the boxes
- Sculptures placed, information material / brochures displayed etc.
- Your exhibition space will be supervised by specially engaged staff
- Specific information and sales by the staff
- Handling of returns: packing of unsold works and handover forwarding agent
- Publication in the official exhibition catalogue
- Publication in all web publications and in our network

* The staff will be intensively prepared in advance (artist biographies, gallery history, examination of the exhibited works).
If necessary, they will communicate with you directly, e.g. for specific information or price negotiations.​

Shipping Conditions:

  • All artworks should be ready to hang.

  • All artworks must be delivered on Wednesday 26th May 2021 (9am-22pm) or Thursday 27th May 2021 (9am-12am). Please note that we cannot receive any artworks before Wednesday 27th May 2021 and later than Thursday 27th May 2021 till 12am.

  • Artworks must be packed correctly. If using a crate please specify by email the screwdriver model required to open the crate.

  • All packs must be correctly addressed and named.

  • Provide all necessary paperwork to clear customs - inform with your courier.

  • Please include labels with Title and Price. You can also send your business cards.

  • All packs must include inside the Shipping Returning Label in case the artwork is not sold and we need to ship back

  • Unsold artworks must be picked by your delivery company on Monday 31st May 2021 (9am-22pm). Please note that we cannot deliver any artworks after Monday 31st May 2021. Unpicked artworks will have a storage fee of €300 per day starting from Tuesday 1st June 2021.

Please note that Contemporary Art Station is not responsible for any damage or loss of the artworks.
