My art begins with a treasure hunt. I find vintage lunch boxes where the scenes or characters have faded from view. I have a passion for the innocence of nostalgia that is only surpassed by my love of all that sparkles. By taking genuine crystals, some as small as the tip of a pen, I not only bring the characters and scenes back to life, I add a color intensity that is beyond what originally existed. By choosing varying crystal sizes and mixing pattern options, I create an added dimension that helps the crystals bounce in the light. Ultimately, I transform an old cherished relic into a modern day keepsake.
