For me, my art is a form of escapism and meditation. In my paintings, I convey my experience: I persuade or deny, laugh or abhor. It is difficult to convey such things with fine art genres of painting, so I found an out way in abstraction.
As a person who is obsessed by Wabi-Sabi concept, I am not fixed on the perfection of my paintings; I am more attracted by imperfect beauty.
The ephemerality of the concept of perfection, which is not achievable is conveyed in my paintings. In our reality, perfection is replaced by the illusion - to seem, not to be - that is what we often see in the mass media and in social networks. Watching this every day, people get involved in this game, strive for an artificial imposed image of "perfect" beauty and "successful success," without noticing how beautiful they themselves are.
I would like people to learn to love themselves and others as they are, here and now, we are all unicorns, mermaids and wizards, if we just believe in it and if we are honest and open, especially with ourselves.
Thus, my strict simple geometric shapes combine a variety of colors and textures that seem to form on their own. And what will happen next to me, as an artist, will be very interesting to observe, because I always have a million ideas for future projects.
