My first objective is to communicate emotions through my paintings, I want to touch the spectators and to allow them the freedom to interpret what they observe. Art must be experienced, felt, rediscovered, recreated in the heart of oneself. Perception is an essential condition for the participation of the viewer. The essential is no longer the object itself, but the scope of the object and the repercussions to the public.

Art is primordial for me, it is a way of evasion to make the mind travel. It has become my preferred way of expression since my childhood.

No matter what one suffers in life, there is always a manner to heal one's soul. Art has enabled me to move forward and get to this point today, and will continue to accompany me in the continuation of my road.

I was strongly influenced by the Renaissance period, such as the representation of my portraits hyper-realistic in oil. The invention of perspective which proposes an unprecedented reading scheme, the rediscovery of ancient art, which one will seek to imitate and integrate into painting. The volume is created using light-shaded gradients and the drop shadow will add realism to the decor. The evolution of technique and the thirst for knowledge brought by humanism will bring artists into a competition for an idealization of beauty, taking into account purely technical knowledge.

From the knowledge of drawing, of the pure and hard technique of painting, one can begin to develop, to move away from all these rules little by little, to create much more subjective works, to grant the participation of the spectator, but With some control.

As for my less figurative works, they are symbolic and poetic works, inspired and influenced by society, everyday life, the recurrent questions inherent in the human condition. They talk about life, hope, death, refer to the passing time. There is an imprint and a fossilized appearance, the accumulation of objects to add a personal touch, such as plates, glasses, candles, brushes that I used in the past, Pose a direct mark on the canvas, a physical mark with symbolic significance.

I worked on the portrait for what it has of intimate. I wanted to show the present artifice of the human being with a realistic representation, adding a superficial side which designates the masks that unfortunately carries the man of our days, while capturing the glance of the subject, because the eyes do not lie.

I also addressed the topic of homosexuality, which is strongly taboo for some, and may shock. This is my way of standing up against homophobia and discrimination in general. Love remains love.

At present, in the works I am exhibiting, I offer the viewer to form his own opinion on the subjects I present, and I hope to offer them ideas for reflection, always in this idea of dialogue, because we live in A world where the means of communication have completely obliterated the communication itself.
