Nicholas Heaney
As a neurodivergent artist with autism, ADHD, and dyslexia, creativity has always been the most authentic way for me to connect with the world around me. Through the use of heavy-bodied acrylics, my art becomes a sensory experience. Drawing inspiration from the coastal landscapes of Cape Cod National Seashore, I create contemporary seascapes, abstract compositions, and still lifes that are sometimes referred to as sculptures on canvas. The primary objective of my artistic practice is to foster meaningful connections with those who engage with my work.
