Maria Stella Polce

Italian artist (and teacher at the Ministry of Public Education), self-taught and multifaceted, she showed her passion for art from a young age, painting in oils with a realistic style. Subsequently, she experimented with other techniques, ranging from pastels to acrylics, tempera, enamels, painting on glass, etc., until she arrived at digital art in the year 2000. With the discovery of fractals, generated by her on the computer, and with the artistic current of Fractalism (Manifesto of the Cultural Movement "Fractalism", by Master Giorgio Orefice, published in 1999, considered the protagonist of this avant-garde which had repercussion throughout the world), therefore, Maria Stella Polce has created surprising works, of great visual impact, that are born from fractals and their modification. With this new genre of digital art, she has been actively participating, since 2015, in collective exhibitions and artistic events in Italy and abroad, has received numerous awards and is featured in magazines and various art catalogs including the Mondadori CAM 54 Modern Art Catalog, the Elite 2019 and 2020, the De Agostini Contemporary Art Atlas 2021, etc.
