Lavinia Longhetto
LAVINIA LONGHETTO is a versatile artist. She lives and works between Venice and Treviso. Graduated at Etching art Fine Arts Academy in Venice, Lavinia embraces different ways of artistic expression. Drawing is her main tool of work, with which she represents an exasperated body, which suffers the consequences of time and environment.
In 2012, the artist founded her first social art project, which goes through different phases of experimentation and artistic expression. The graphic sign of Lavinia, a filiform and articulated sign, gives shape and expression to the body and its joints. In her artworks, Lavinia mixes influences of many different artists: Egon Schiele, Francesca Woodman, Arnulf Rainer, Alberto Giacometti.
Lavinia's photography is, instead of drawings, more "clean", with a particular view of a surrounding world, its architectures, and the bodies itself.
Lavinia Longhetto is a stable artist of Galleria 2.0.
She exhibits in many collectives and solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
Currently, in parallel to artistic path, artist works as a teacher.
