Gloria Keh
I paint 100% for charity and any money raised through the sales of my art is donated directly to the charity by the buyer. I believe this is a way of giving back to the community, and not just supporting charities in Singapore, where I live, but helping any charity in other parts of the world, as I also believe in oneness.
I began painting since childhood. My late father, the oil painter Martin Fu was my first art teacher. Our family was very poor, and I began selling my art since I was a child, to supplement my pocket money. Art helped me then, more than 60 years ago. Today, at 68, I am committed to using my art to help others.
I studied mandala art and symbolism for over 10 years in Melbourne, Australia and undertook a short course in art therapy at an art college in Singapore.
In 2008, I founded Circles of Love, a non profit charity outreach program using my art in the service to humanity. Since then I have participated in over 80 art exhibitions both in Singapore as well as internationally. My first overseas solo art exhibition was held at the Gallery Steiner in Vienna, Austria. I have had two solo art exhibitions in Singapore.
International art events that I have participated in include New York Art Expo, Shanghai Art Fair, the Normann Biennale Italy, Affordable Art Fairs in Hong Kong and Singapore, several art festivals held at the Haegeumgang Theme Museum in South Korea. In December 2019, I exhibited and sold at Art Basel Red Dot Miami.
Awardwise, I have been blessed with 18 international art awards, the most recent being the ATIM Art Tour International Magazine’s Top 60 Masters award 2020 in New York.
I hope you’ll like my art.
