I am a Czech painter focusing on the landscape painting. The main interest is in nature
herself. I paint her as I see her, feel her and constantly learn from her.
I create small painting in plein-air on the place which I depict. Bigger formats are made
in the studio where I can focus more on a particular detail. For my topics, I choose landscapes with as little human´s interventions as possible, that the purity of nature could stands out. From the same reason, I am trying to limit my interpretation and inserting my content. I just want to take a spectator to that specific place and let him contemplate on his own.

Lately I have been fascinated by the element of water. I examine ways of its flowing and
reasons why it is acting as it is. Water is important for all our lives, not just for survival, but
it participates in formation of bodies of plants, animals and humans. And it also affects
appearance of landscape. So, we can find its marks in everything. Which is something that
I want to reflect in my work. Thanks to this paintings of water I am getting to a new form of painting when it is not most important to depict whole scenery and do the documentation of the place but I rather focus on the deeper essence of it.
I find inspiration all around me, I like to come back to places that I know and experience them all over again, everytime with something new. And I also love to travel to a completly new sceneries.
